How does Guidez connect to Confluence?

Guidez connects to Confluence via Atlassian OAuth (the same authentication used for Jira). You authorize access, select which Confluence spaces to index, and Guidez's AI Guide crawler processes your documentation.

Does the AI Guide answer from my Confluence docs specifically?

Yes. When you connect Confluence, Guidez indexes the pages you select and uses them as the primary knowledge base for AI Guide answers — citing the exact page the answer came from.

Does Guidez modify or change my Confluence pages?

No. Guidez only reads your Confluence pages. It never modifies, deletes, or creates pages unless you explicitly enable the optional "content gap stub creation" feature.

Does the integration cost extra?

No. Confluence integration is included on all paid Guidez plans at no additional cost.
