What Counts as an MAU?

A Monthly Active User (MAU) is any unique user who sees at least one Guidez element in a calendar month. The same user can trigger many tours and still count as one MAU. Counts reset on the 1st of each month UTC.

How Does Overage Billing Work?

Pro includes 2,500 MAU per month. On the 1st of each month, Guidez calculates your previous month's MAU. If you exceeded 2,500, the overage is charged at $0.01 per additional MAU and added as a line item to your next Stripe invoice. Your tours never stop running — you are simply billed for actual usage after the fact.

Is There a Free Plan?

Yes. The Hobby plan is completely free, forever. No credit card required, no time limit. You get up to 100 MAU per month and full access to all core tour features. When you are ready to scale, upgrading to Pro takes one click from your billing settings.

Can I Cancel or Downgrade Anytime?

Yes. Cancel or downgrade anytime from within your dashboard — no contracts, no lock-in. If you cancel, Pro remains active until the end of the billing period. After that your account reverts to the Hobby plan (100 MAU limit).

Do You Offer Discounts for Startups or Nonprofits?

Yes. We offer a 15% discount for qualifying early-stage startups (under $1M ARR) and registered nonprofits. Reach out to us at hello@guidez.io with your details.

What Payment Methods Do You Accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Stripe. A card on file is required for Pro, since Pro uses usage-based billing with monthly overage invoicing.

Is Guidez SOC 2 and GDPR Compliant?

Yes. Guidez is SOC 2 Type II certified and fully GDPR compliant. Your user data stays in your region and is never used for any purpose other than powering your tours.
